Disney Belle is an official Disney Princess, & the fifth in order of release, between Ariel & Jasmine.

Princess Belle ("Belle" meaning "beautiful" in French) is the female protagonist of Beauty & the Beast & the protagonist of its direct-to-video follow-ups, The Enchanted Christmas & Belle's Magical World.

In all of the above media, her speaking & singing voices are provided by Broadway icon, Paige O'Hara. In 2011, Julie Nathanson assumed the role as Belle's official voice actress, beginning with Kinect Disneyland Adventures.

Belle is stunningly pretty. He's long wavy brown hair, most often tied back in a low ponytail, captivating hazel eyes, full lips, rosy cheeks, & a sculpted figure. of her more distinct features are the strands of hair that are constantly sliping loose from her ponytail & falling in fron of her face, he is often seen brushing them back in to place when nervous or trying to be polite.

Throughout the film, Belle wears various outfits depending on the occasion. Her most elaborate & renowned is her golden ball gown, in which he shares her first dance with the Beast in the "Beauty & the Beast" sequence. With this outfit, he wears a quantity of her hair in a tidy bun, but the huge majority of it trails down her neck in a pretty, flowing motion, resembling a ponytail.

A stage version of the 1991 film debuted on Broadway on April 14, 1994 with the 'live' role of Belle originated by Susan Egan (who would later go on to voice Megara in Hercules), & finalized by Anneliese van der Pol.

Belle is an attractive 17-year elderly girl however he is modestly pretty because he doesn't give much thought to her own apperance. Although he is known throughout her village for her beauty, he is not vain or concerned about her looks, but ironically greatly aware that her fellow citizens think of her as "odd" & "peculiar". Belle pays small attention to her appearance, unlike the much conceited Gaston, whom only wishes to wed her because he is attractive & cares small for her persona, her intelligence (he hates the idea of a woman thinking or reading) or the way he desires to live her life.

The storywriters & producers of Beauty & the Beast desired to give Belle's movements an air of elegance, so they studied the movements of ballerinas in the work of the work of Belle's development. Like ballerinas, Belle walks diligently & swiftly on her toes no matter what types of shoes he is wearing, or where he is located. The designers & artists wanted Belle to be more noticeable in a crowd, so they payed additional close attention to her wardrobe, ensuring that Belle would be the only member of the town to wear blue, whilst the other townsfolk sported more rustic & earthy colors, such as red, green, orange & brown.

It is made obvious in the early chapters of the film that Belle has a pretty singing voice, courtesy of Broadway actress & singer Paige O'Hara.
